2016 Save the Dates...

March 19 ~ Rudy Zwieg Decoy Show, Alexandria 9 am – 4 pm
Attend: This is the 12th year for this highly successful event. The museum will have a display table. Sporting collectibles, silent auction, and carving competition. Food available on site.
Volunteer: We need volunteers to host our booth at various times throughout the day. Call the museum office at 320-616-2011 for more details.

April 1 ~ Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, Mpls. Convention Center
Attend: Friday, April 1 has been named Hall of Fame Friday at the Northwest Sport Show. The 2016 Induction Ceremony will be held at breakfast. The Show opens at 11 am.  Legends will be giving seminars from 1 pm - 7 pm. For more information contact Chip Leer or Jenn Arnold at 218-547-4714 or or

April 8 ~ Night with the Fishing Pros, Falls Ballroom 5 pm – 9:30 pm
Attend: Adults $30 - Children under 12 $15 purchase online or call the museum for other locations or to pay by credit card.
Volunteer: We need helpers to set up the silent auction on Thursday. Help is needed to take tickets at the door, watch a table, cashier, and more.

Donate: Donate new items or gift baskets for the silent and live auctions or door prizes. Call the museum at 320-616-2011 for details and times.

April 16 ~ Gopher Chapter Antique Outboard Motor Club Swap Meet
Attend: Visit the museum this Saturday to see a terrific collection of old and restored motors as the club meets at the museum from 9 am - 3 pm. Collectors love to talk about old motors. If you have a question about an old motor this is the place to find the answer. Admission is free. Donations are accepted.

April 16 - 17 ~ “The Gathering” Decoy Show at Perham
Attend: This is the big one. Decoy carving competition, sporting collectibles and more at the Perham Community Center. Visit our booth or volunteer to “spell” Al and Robert for a time.

A Little Something Extra…

Let’s Go Fishing - Little Falls Chapter: The MFM is the host of the Let’s Go Fishing-Little Falls Chapter. This program provides FREE fishing and boating excursions as an activity for senior citizens – anyone over 55. The chapter provides a safe boat or pontoon, all necessary equipment, a snack, and an experienced fishing guide and assistants! If you are 55+ and plan to be in the Little Falls area between June and September (weather permitting) contact us to learn about our scheduled outings.
